Her path would lead to a decades-long commitment to being the BEST flooring company, and eventually, after many years of devotion and hard work, Vicki would officially take over the helm as Owner of Hubbard Flooring Studio. You can expect personalized service in their beautiful new showroom located at 11880 Boylan Avenue, and Vicki is always ready to greet you with the biggest smile! Laminate vs LVP. Same look, very different performance. Here's what actually separates them. 🤔

🪵 Laminate has a wood composite core. It looks beautiful and is budget-friendly, but it is NOT waterproof. Standing water can cause it to swell and warp.

💧 LVP is 100% vinyl all the way through, making it completely waterproof and a better fit for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

🦶 Feel: LVP is slightly softer and quieter underfoot. Laminate can sound hollow without quality underlayment.

Neither is the wrong choice. It just depends on the room and how your household lives.

Will this key scratch these floors?

We put Lions Floor LVP and laminate floors to the test by scratching them with a sharp key, the results? None of the floors sustained any visible damages during the test, this is due to the advanced protective wear layer found on all Lions Floor products.
