Have to brag on the hubs. He started making these flags. The ripples in the flag, as well as the stars, are carved in the wood. Pictures don't do them justice. They are amazing! What's cool is he takes a photo of our flag and then recreates it. However our flag looks that day is what he builds. Except for the tattered one, that was one he wanted to try. He has a couple more in the works already.

He donated these to Charlie 22, a local organization that raises money for veterans, takes veterans on hunts or fishing trips, builds ramps, helps get veterans on their feet, as well as combat the 22 a day who commit su***de. Charlie 22 is an organization near and dear to both our hearts for a number of reasons, and they do amazing work.

Unless noted, I have 2 of each of these remaining. Just for the folks in this group, and because I want to rotate my stock for Spring and Easter $3 for anything. I do have a few 18x18 pillows (new in plastic still) I can throw in for $7 each so you have a finished product. All my bolster pillows I'm currently using.

Another little project we worked on to update Isabella's room. The first 3 pictures are the finished project. Picture 4 was the inspiration. The last picture was similar to the before pictures we forgot to take. I had the paint from making her a bookcase and nightstands. It cost me money for dowel rods and the gold door pull. Less than a $10 makeover!

Diamond Painting is a great new DIY hobby idea that is fun! It helps you relax and free your mind from everyday problems. The Diamond Painting project is completing an image with small synthetic crystals.

This painting is 20 x 30 cm or 7.87 inches wide by 11.81 inches long.

Each Painting kit includes:

Pre-printed canvas with special adhesive layer and protective film,
acrylic rhinestones,
green tray,
Diamond applicator tool,
Adhesive wax (small pink square)

Follow the guide on the left of the canvas for the number or letter and find the corresponding bag of dots (rhinestones), and pour them into the green tray.. Use the applicator tool to take a small amount of wax (be sure to only peel back a small corner and re-cover to keep it from drying out), pick up a rhinestone,, and place it on the corresponding letter or number on the painting. Try and keep the protective film over the canvas as much as possible so it retains it's adhesive.
