You may have noticed our little construction project the last week.

Sort of a long story

Last Sunday I’m doing typical yard work at the store and I run into this female duck.

Was practically standing on it before it flapped off.

Didn’t think much more than “wow what a stupid duck what are you doing ya dumb duck” and went about my work.

Few hours later I am picking up brush.

Same spot again practically on top of it the female duck takes off.

I can’t believe it’s just random so I take a look and sure enough there is a nest.

Wilder is right there
At least five sewers

So I sprang into action and created a sort of funnel system to guide them to the nearest nature area around.

Well they hatched and this morning the funnel worked 100% at intended.

Mrs. Quackersbee and her flock are now in the hands of nature and not in the concrete jungle.

A couple of spots remain for this fantastic event!

June 18th and 19th we will be hosting Janis from Baby Lock USA who will be showing off the latest features of the Baby Lock Radiance making a project featuring stitch regulation and edge to edge quilting. This powerful machine has top-of-the-line features designed to make any sewing project easier.
