Once there was a very curious and artistic little girl named Lavon. She was happy to make it to school with her new crayons. She was certain there would be something to color that day. Upon arriving, she saw a coloring sheet of a squirrel placed on top of her desk. Lavon search for the prettiest colored crayon to use. She chose purple. As she proudly finished her squirrel her teacher in a huffy voice said , “Lavon have you ever seen a purple squirrel?” Lavon was upset, but not crushed. She would go on for years to remind others not to crush the spirit of little ones. She was able to influence many lives by becoming a teacher. In memory of our grandmother, Lavon we founded Purple Squirrel Company where we hope we can inspire our customers to seek out the purple squirrel within themselves as we each do everyday and our grandmother did. 💜
