This has been a very special Christmas filled with reminders of what it’s all about. I just love watching the girls excitement over the Santa and the elf. (I really got into that one and stayed up late painting that as an homage to the Mona Lisa and Norman Rockwell’s self portrait) I’m so worried this will be the last year they believe. Trying to eat up every minute. We had fun making cookies. And are so grateful for friends that helped out when we really needed it this week. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Blast from the past! Today I was at a client’s home and found this in a room I hadn’t been in yet. A tile mural I had painted 22 years ago for the previous owners of the house. It is from a historical photograph of the lake in front of their home and was installed over their stove. When my current client’s moved in they renovated the kitchen. But they loved the mural and had the section of wall cut out in order to save it. It was such a surprise to see it today and warmed my heart that they had saved it.
