Downtown Event Centre
Saturday, July 23 from 9 am -12 pm

Focusing on science, technology, engineering, art, and math, STEAM Camp is perfect for youth looking for a challenging, creative, and comprehensive experience this summer. Working in creative spaces using their imaginations and a wide variety of materials, kids will design their own inventions and solve problems independently and collaboratively. Youth will question, explore, and understand their world through an enlightening variety of scientific and technological lenses. Experienced community members and library staff facilitate a challenging and innovative program of study using hands-on experimentation and technology.

Community partners include: Beaumont Children's Museum, H-E-B, Neches Federal Credit Union, Tyrrell Historical Library, Visit-BeaumontTx, MAKE Creative Space, Texas Energy Museum, Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Beaumont Fire Service, Jefferson County Master Gardners, Lamar University - Department of Sustainability, Beaumont City Communications Department, Beaumont Fleet Department, Friends of the Beaumont Public Library System, Beaumont Facilities Maintenance, Welton Everett, Beaumont Library Commission, and more!
