Christmas in July means something different to knitters and crocheters. End of July is when you should start planning your holiday gift knitting and crocheting. Start with a list of people you want to make something for. Then be realistic about what your options are. If you only have three people on your list, then you do have time to make an afghans, sweaters, shawls bigger projects. If you have 20 people, you might need to look at hats, fingerless, gloves, mittens, or scarves.
