Vintage and thrifted finds help me decorate my yard for fall. Here's my pumpkin patch, now I need to go see what my vendor friends have in their booths that I can buy to make it spooky from Emporium 13. Have y'all decorated your yards already for the season? Sadly, I haven't seen that many homes decked out in their autumnal finest in our area as I drive around neighborhoods. I wonder why that is. If you have, please share photos below. When I was a kid, I remember every home being in "the spirit of Halloween or Fall." The decor was phenomenal and us kids could not wait to go trick or treating. My brother and I would have pillow cases filled with candy by the time we headed home, tired but satisfied with our hauls. Neighbors lined their driveways and carports dressed in costume to hand out treats. Photos were taken of the best creations. We stopped to admire all the yard decorations. Now I may see only a couple of trick or treaters come to our door for candy. Most of the lights are out in the homes on the streets. There is not a jack-o-lantern lit to be found. Times have changed. Not at my address! ๐๐ค๐
