CustomEyes Designs Hand painted artwork, re-purposed items used as my canvas! Plus shabby chic creations Thank you for checking out my page! These can also be displayed outside.

I hope you have taken the opportunity to go through my photos and postings to see the items painted that have been inspired by the love of flowers, animals, nature, my children, grandchildren, and of course your influence and suggestions! My canvas may be window screens, windows, or pallet wood, all re-purposed and given new life to decorate your homes (indoors and out), the garden and shed, the o

ffice, and the list goes on! Most window screen frames, and window frames are left in their original state, to give that shabby chic appearance. They may have original hooks, handles, other hardware, and possibly the original homeowners handwritten labels of what window the screen belongs in! They are however, checked over, sturdied (if need be), and cleaned. Screens, glass, and frames, may have imperfections. When purchasing screen paintings, know that they are displayed best against a darker wall or background. Some of my wood framed screen paintings will have a black backing to help make the artwork “pop”. Some artwork (windows or indoor reclaimed wood) should only be displayed indoors or away from the elements (rain, snow etc). Pallet wood canvases are rustic with many imperfections, but the artwork will bring new life to them! You can clean the screen paintings by lightly spraying with a hose and pat or air dry. Art on windows should be dry dusted, and pallet wood can be wiped with damp rag. As with any artwork, do not use harsh chemicals as it may harm the piece. Frames can be wiped off with a damp rag. I have already coated my screen paintings, and pallet paintings, but to help give them a longer vibrant life outdoors, you may use a light coat of Rust-Oleum Clear Coat Spray prior to displaying in the future years. Some items may be posted and sold on my page through messaging me. Items can be picked up at my home in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Sorry I do not ship my artwork. I may also have my artwork at local vendors, which I will post, showing you the artwork available. You may also see me at Art Festivals or venues. Most prices for screen paintings vary from $17 to $30 a square foot depending on detail and size. Window and pallet art will also vary depending on detail and size. Items posted for sale on my page will have size and price listed. Custom pieces will run slightly higher. Contact me for a free quote! I am very proud of my artwork and would display them in my own home! I would take more pictures if you are interested prior to your purchase if purchased from me. I have also been requested to do some canvas pieces. Depending on detail, prices will be 8x10 $125, 12x12 $150 and 11x14 $175. This is base starting price. Cost will reflect the amount of detail requested for the artwork. Custom painted saws start at $150. for a standard hand saw, and start at $195. for a larger 1 or 2 handled saw. Customer provides a rust free clean saw, preferably with handles removed. Cost will reflect the amount of detail requested and size of the saw. I AM LIMITING COMMISSIONED ARTWORK. However, I will be happy to create a custom piece for you, if the time frame allows. I try to do custom pieces in between seasonal paintings. If there is something that you like on my page I can recreate a similar piece. No two pieces of artwork are the same! As I do not use stencils, lettering will not be “perfect”, I do prefer to paint images however, rather than letter boards. Please PM me if you are interested, I can give you a time frame of completion. Also, inventory of specific sizes of window screens and windows may be limited. I will do whatever possible to create a unique work of art for you, if time allows. Words I try to live by: “I am going to make everything around me beautiful-that will be my life” Else de Wolfe
Please like my page and check back frequently! Thanks! Hanna

Disclaimer: Because many items are re-claimed, re-purposed, they may have imperfections. These items will show age related wear and tear and are sold “as is”. Though it has been known that some old architectural items may contain lead based paint, I, to the best of my knowledge, am not aware of any content of this on these pieces. I do my best to clean items, so please do not scrape, sand, or eat the paint from window frames or screens, or architectural wood pieces. Also because some pieces are very rustic , they may contain nails, staples, or rough or sharp edges
Please handle your artwork with care. I am not responsible for broken or damaged items from accidents that may occur after the item has been purchased. Also once the item has been purchased there will be no refunds or exchanges. Thank you!
