Changing it up this week with a two-part video. The homeowner wanted a refresh and lighter color. We did the entire first and second floor of this home; as well as the steps. This is showing the before.

“Floor of the Week”

This homeowner was informed that her hardwood floors could not be salvaged due to water damage and would need to be removed and replaced. We disagreed and proposed an alternative solution. After removing the damaged wood, we sanded, stained, and finished the floors, successfully restoring them. Our company always attempts to refinish before resorting to full replacement, which allowed us to save this homeowner thousands of dollars. (The final photo is before the last coat, with edges prepped for completion, and note the whitish areas).

This homeowner had water damage due to an ice dam. The old hardwood flooring was removed and a new prefinished floor was installed. The herring bone transition to the other room was the owner’s idea. Wasn’t sure we could pull it off, but man did it turn out nice.

These floors were in really bad shape. They had been improperly sanded and were left with unevenness and gouges. To restore a level surface, a two-step process of angle sanding and straight sanding was required. The final result was remarkable.
