Non-binary is in umbrella term for people who don’t identify as one gender, do not identify as having a gender, or fluctuate in gender. This hurts no one. What does hurt is that many people who are naturally like this have to hide themselves because society is mean and villainizes the innocent. The ENTIRE LGBTQIA FAMILY is safe with us. If that loses customers… well… bye.

When Mayhem was still growing in my belly, I had every decision made that she was going to be a tomboy like I was. I didn’t want societies standards to tell this little girl that she was going to be obsessed with pink, hearts, and unicorns. Guess what… This little girl didn’t want me to dictate things for her either. She loves pink and she thinks hearts are amazing and she ooohs and ahhhs over every single unicorn she sees. She also likes video games and her best friends are all boys. She likes spinning in circles, Swinging, Rolling down hills, and lots of extra cuddles. She is uniquely herself outside of mine and societies wants. She’s why there’s so much pink in my work. I think about her all the time and how much I appreciate her being her.

When we had our older two, we used to call one bear and the other one frog. Frog eventually showed us they are definitely more of a monkey than a frog 🤣. The bear we got spot on. Then we had our daughter who loved to coo and flitter around. She had a playset with these little birds she would babble to. She became my little bird and it’s stuck that way. These colors were based on some dove wings she stood in front of at the lantern fest. Normally we can find butterfly wings to pose in front of but this time we finally found a bird!

Last night I posted 10 new colorways for the shop. Over the course of the week I will go over each one. But a quick breakdown, I have four new worsted weight superwash merino, 2 DK superwash merino, one sportweight superwash, 1 full cotton, one Pima cotton, and one sparkle bamboo. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a dedication to the aviation exhibit I meander by at least 3 days a week. The entrance sign is made up of these colors and seeing them brings me joy. I’m not normally a plane person. I would rather take a train. I will admit that I love seeing the history behind the planes in the museum and seeing them up so close. I also recently found out one of my (possible) ancestors was famous for the first flight to the North Pole. I’m sure he gave some expert advice to Santa about flying.

When I mixed colors together, they sometimes separate. Usually one will stop flowing through the fibers, and the other will continue to flow out. I guess there’s a lot with grays when I put blue in them or green with an excessive yellow. There are other ones that are premixed to break. It’s so much fun to Watch. It makes me so happy.

This was another Colorway I found while trying to stay awake at work. In fact, it was on the ceiling where I kept looking up at because the back of my head was so heavy. It worked out perfect because These are nighttime colors.

A 17 hour shift at work turned into me, trying to make a bunch of different Colorways to stay awake. I never noticed how much color was at work. They went from trying to stay awake to I couldn’t catch them all. This was a lighting bar that had pink light reflecting off of it. I’ve tried to separate all the colors of the shadow along with the pink. I absolutely adore How something we normally don’t pay attention to could turn into art.

Unfortunately, due to financial reasons and a travel company we had depended on shutting down, I have not seen my two older children in two years. If they paid you for your tears, I would’ve been able to travel back-and-forth 100 times over. I am so excited to say that one of them is going to be able to come Visit us this upcoming month. It’s only for a few days, but I will take two minutes if that’s all I could get. He used to bring me dandelions with the brightest smile across his face. To so many people, they are weeds, but to mothers they are love.
