Can you believe that the Green on top of the right color is made of alpine blue and monarch orange? The burgundy underneath is made of alpine blue, orchid, and Chinese red. 
On the left side is what happened when I played with tapping in colors. That’s where I scatter the powder over damp or wet fiber and tap it into the places I want it. It still spreads but it has very distinct lines of the initial powder color.
It may not seem like a lot to people but for a little girl who had always wanted to see what made things go and why things are… experiencing this is a reward.
In what ways do you let your inner child come out and play or heal every day?

In the cartoon world there is this fun thing that they do to make it look like the background is shaking. They will give you a black image and in the white spaces use pink blue and yellow strobing. It gives this little feeling of unease to your eyes. It’s also what they will use for static. I was hoping I could do this on yarn. What was the feeling achieved? No. But it still came out with some pretty impressive yarn.

To everyone feeling the loss of Dolly, I see you, I hear you… but she would want us to continue to walk with love. Experience the world with found joy and laughter. Enjoy the colors around you and share a beautiful picture with friends. If you don’t like it, fix it. If you can’t fix it, lighten it. If you can’t lighten it, create a way for yourself and others to survive it.
This is my light. I can take the colors that make me happy and put them into the hands of people that can craft magic with them. While I make them I will sing at the top of my untalented lungs because music is joy. I can teach my daughter the joy of making two colors be besties that mix into a color uniquely their own.
We can be sad. But we can also realize we got to live in the same timeline as someone who taught us to live and laugh in our own special way that makes this world better.

I was going for soft and mystic. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of random affirmation cards. Somehow they always seem to fit the inspiration I need in the moment. Hopefully someone gets the same peace from this yarn as I get from speaking kindly to myself. le

When I got the new wool in, I was promptly asked by the Yarn Dragon to make some fall on worsted. I wanted to try and get the golden parts of it this year. Somehow it made it very Christmas 🤣🤣🤣🤣
