Intro to Embroidery still has some spots left!

This 2-hour class provides an overview of embroidery, focusing on tips and tricks and foundational stitches. Folks will get a printed sampler that features the following basic stitches: running stitch, backstitch, chain stitch, french knots, and satin stitch. No embroidery knowledge is necessary, and best practices/tips and tricks will be shared as well.

Supplies you’ll need. None! Shannon will provide everything you’ll need – needles, thread, hoop, sampler, and booklet.

This is an in-person class held at For Yarn’s Sake.
$75, which includes all supplies.

There’s still room in our helix knitting class happening September 20th from 2 to 4pm taught by the wonderful Michele Lee Bernstein . Helix knitting is a method of knitting jogless stripes in the round. There is no carrying the yarn up to the next stripe on the back. Helix knitting works well for single row stripes in 2 or more colors, seamless garter stitch, and blending skeins of yarn.

We just got a bunch of new colorways of Juniper Moon Farm Rambouillet in, this the new and improved full pallet of colors we have available now! It’s a deliciously soft non-superwash DK with endless possibilities.
