Many of the pieces from our haul on Tuesday have now found their way into the mall!

Here at Timberwood we feel there’s something deeply nostalgic about a piece of furniture that has already lived a lifetime.

A pie safe that once held freshly baked bread.
A canning cupboard filled with jars from a summer garden.
A cedar chest holding quilts, linens, or treasured keepsakes.

These pieces were made for everyday life — and we believe they still have a place in our homes today.

A pie safe can become beautiful storage in a kitchen, dining room, or even a bathroom. A canning cupboard can hold dishes, linens, books, or the things we reach for every day. And a cedar chest can still protect blankets, quilts, family heirlooms, and memories for another generation.

There’s no need for these beautiful pieces to simply sit and be admired. They were built to be useful, and they deserve to be used.

That’s why we take such pride in carefully wiping, dusting, cleaning, and polishing each piece before it finds its new home. We want the new owners to experience that wonderful feeling of bringing home something with history — something beautifully cared for and ready to be enjoyed right away.

The scratches, the worn edges, the patina and imperfections are reminders that these pieces have been part of someone’s everyday life.

And now, they’re ready to be part of yours.

Because sometimes the most beautiful way to preserve the past… is to keep using it. 🤎

So come to Timberwood for your next piece of furniture:-)

🤣🤪🚚🏋️‍♀️ Our Life at Timberwood!

Stan cleared space in the warehouse to unload the trailer contents to go load it up to then come back to clear more space in the cabin to unload some of it into that. And then with an empty trailer, he went and loaded it AgAiN!!! … and when he gets back with that last load of the day it will be to unload the load he just loaded!!! All in less than 36 hours. 👍🏻😎Next we will load up pieces from inside the store to unload it in the warehouse in order to move recently bought and unloaded finds into the store! 🤣🤣🤣

WHEW! Did he make you tired just thinking about it? It did me! Lol!

But we wouldn’t want to be doing anything else! It’s what we love to do!!

❤️ At the end of the day, and at the end of the running and loading and lifting, we get some pretty amazing pieces that make people wonder and remember and want to be the next caretakers of these pieces of history.

Will you be the next person to enjoy what we found? Come in and find out! We dare you to!

POV: You realize the stuff made 100 years ago is probably going to outlive everything you bought last week. 😂

Brass. Copper. Bronze. They weren’t just pretty—they were built to last. And that aged patina? 🔥

Now you can find those same vintage treasures at Timberwood Antique Mall. Lamps, cookware, décor, hardware, weird little things you didn’t know you needed… you know, the good stuff. 😉

Come hunt for something with a little history. You might just find your next favorite piece.
