I had a prom emergency call a few minutes ago! Two hours before prom I found myself doing a quick stitch job on a gown that was gaping at the bust. Granted it is a temporary fix and I hope it holds up. I used 40 TEX thread, which is a heavier strength. Cross your fingers for her!

Prom season is NOT over as I thought. I have a last minute fitting in just a few minutes! I'm glad to know people can count on me to answer the calls and provide this service.

The end of prom season is here! Wedding gown season started a month ago. A quick reminder: Although I am known for a quick turnaround, the sooner you get your garments to me the better. Sometimes a second fitting is needed to fine tune detailed areas. Scheduling can be tricky for both customers and myself. Communication between us is a must!

I have a multitude of alterations and I send texts or make calls promptly when I finish or need information. Please be courteous and return calls or respond to texts as soon as possible.

Word is definitely circulating in the tri-county area, because I'm up to my ears in alterations. Both gowns and common articles are beginning to accumulate on a regular basis.

Thank you to all who spread that word to friends and family! If not for you, I wouldn't be as successful.

I'm still accepting fitting appointments for prom. The cutoff date is April 24th if your prom is May 2nd. Any appointments after that day will have an expedition fee of $25 added to the bill.

I was sew busy with fittings and prom alterations last week! The start of this week is proving to be similar and it's only Monday. Sam is here today and we spent the morning restocking our cocoon chair supplies. He's definitely fast!

I've some hand sewing to do on a gown, then I have three orders to fill. Sam will be picking seams on suit coats to prep for altering and filling pillow inserts.

There aren't many days left on the shop calendar available for prom alterations. I'm booked darn close to solid and have other alterations to fill the gaps.

I'm fitting in a cosplayer tomorrow, because you know how much I love the challenge (and deadlines). What's one more task added to the spring madness?!

I've two wedding gowns, two prom gowns, and one bridesmaid gown in cue. Many upcoming fittings are filling the calendar.

Sew... New product available at Thirteen Stitches LLC. Lay this wide open, place items on it, close the snap, and lift the straps. Voila! Instant tote.

Made of heavy canvas and upholstery fabric gives these bags sturdiness which will make them last a very long time. Sewn with 40 tex thread to secure the stitches and outlast thousands of spins in the washer.

It's a great item to have on hand at Aldi (you need to buy your grocery bags if you don't supply your own), the Goodwill (they don't bag your thrift store finds), and it is better for the environment.

Use them for groceries, toys, gym clothes, etc...
