This may be a small gally kitchen, but it has all the functionality needed for this homeowner who lives in a condo in Manchester, NH.
Each cabinet and appliance was chosen with intention, each contributing to the kitchen’s functionality and uncluttered modern feel. A built‑in microwave tucked neatly beneath the counter allows for cleared counter space for everyday practicality. We added a small area for a coffee bar and wine storage without sacrificing workspace.
I love layering shapes and textures to all of my designs no matter what the room. I achieved this with a hex pattern tile on the floor, a subway tile on the backsplash, leathered texture for the counter tops and wood texture on the cabinets. It is clearly a modern style kitchen without feeling cold.

So many of my clients struggle with wall decor. What to put on the walls? In this dining room I had Aaron Black Design make floating shelves made from local reclaimed barn board. These shelves were stained to match my clients farm table top also made from reclaimed barn wood. They were hung on either side of a numbered framed print by Charles Mooradian of Nashua, New Hampshire over the bar area. The overall look of the room is rustic elegance enhanced by the warmth of aged wood.

I’m showing off some beeeaaauuutiful custom curly and rustic maple counters and shelves we just installed today for one of my clients. Kudos to Aaron Black Design for his excellent craftsmanship and Goosebay Sawmill and Lumber for providing us with this gorgeous wood. I’ve been working on this home renovation all year and I can’t wait to show off the photos once the entire project is complete. Stay tuned!

This charming abode resides along a country road in Danville, NH. Most people probably would have torn down this 1700’s farmhouse and started over due to decades of neglect, antiquated electrical wiring, plumbing and overall disrepair but the owner had a vision of bringing it back to its former charm and glory with the intention of renting it as an Air BnB. I was brought in to help select the finishes for the complete remodel from flooring, paint colors, tile, counters, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc. I then had great fun furnishing every detail from the furniture, bedding, rugs, window treatments, wall décor, accessories – down to the very cup, spoon, barware and coffee maker! The goal was to create a cohesive design that reflects a time gone by with the modern conveniences of today.

My favorite pieces are the bathroom vanities I designed that were custom built by Aaron Black Design. There was a storage trailer on the property where old barn wood was being stored from the old barn that had to be torn down. Aaron and I picked out every piece of wood and he was able to construct the vanity bases to my specifications. I was able to source a 48” farmers sink for the primary bath and a very unique cement vessel sink for the downstairs guest bath along with reproduction farmhouse faucets to complete the unique modern farmhouse look.
