Chic Restorations for over 40 years, My love for Antiques and vintage furniture is like a sickness. Chic Restorations is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

my mission is to bring old furniture back to life creating one of a kind functional pieces of art. The pieces on this page have either been made or painted by me or are ideas borrowed from others. If there is something you are interested in, please message me and I will get back to you asap. The majority of pieces I do paint or use Epoxy are ONE OF A KIND, so if something is not available, I will do something similar. I will also do custom orders with a deposit. It has been a very trying couple of weeks. Can someone please tell me why people message with you about a piece of furniture up to 48 hours before pick up and hear absolutely nothing. This is the second time with this dresser. Please, if you're not serious then why bother. I spend a tremendous amount of time , money, sweat and even tears to make sure each piece is beautiful. I price my pieces way under value, to be more than half of what they would normally be. I will no longer "hold" for anyone unless I personally know you. My passion besides horses is refinishing and painting Antique and vintage furniture. I hope everyone has respect enough to appreciate the hard work we artist's put into making these beautiful for others to enjoy. NOW, off to begin the next project.

First time trying this. Well after I screwed it up the first try and started over. TONS of sanding. Scraping. Non stop scolding myself, walking away wanting to give up but that's not in my DNA so swearing at myself it was. I FINALLY got it right. Wasted an amazing decoupage paper but that's ok. Love how this turned out!!! She's listed on marketplace if you're interested. This huge mirror is heavy at 42" tall x 30 1/2"wide.born August 3rd 1950, stamped on the back of the mirror that is.

Started on this lane cedar chest. Added scenery to both sides of the decoupage. Using an old halter for handles and an old horse shoe that may or may not be used. The hardware on the front is gone and will never return lol I usually keep all old hardware in case I want to use it on another piece. Nope, not these. Ugly can go in the trash.
