Mark III .45 ACP “Tommy Gun” Style Semi-Auto! 🔥
Fresh arrival at Whiskey Rebellion Antiques! This is a classic Volunteer Enterprises Commando Mark III (Mark 3) from Knoxville, Tennessee — a budget-friendly semi-auto clone of the iconic Thompson submachine gun.
Key Details:
• Caliber: .45 ACP
• Action: Semi-automatic
• Magazines: Takes readily available M3 “Grease Gun” magazines (3 included)
• Markings: stamped “45 CAL. SEMI-AUTO VOLUNTEER ENTERPRISES INC. KNOXVILLE, TENN. PATENT NO. 3695143” and “COMMANDO MARK III 18279”
• Cool walnut furniture, pistol grip, and that classic Thompson look in a legal semi-auto package.
These were produced in the late ’60s to mid-’70s as an affordable “Tommy Gun” alternative. Great for collectors, range fun, or that vintage military aesthetic. Condition looks solid for its age — ready to go!
