What a wonderful and successful day! The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the workshops were engaging and well attended. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to celebrate art, music, creativity, and community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event happen especially the organizers, workshop leaders, vendors, and volunteers. Your dedication, time, and effort made the day truly special and enjoyable for all who attended. We are grateful for everything you did to make this event such a success.

Shop, Create and Learn at Bedford’s Music &Arts Experience 2026!

Join us for the Bedford (MA) Cultural District’s Music &Arts Experience 2026, a celebration of craft making and community! The experience will be held rain or shine( plz don’t rain 🙏🏻) on Saturday, June 13, from 10a.m. To 2 p.m. on the Bedford Town Common, 75 Great Rd.

There will be FREE opportunities for all ages to experience art and craft making at artist-led workshops and demos. Use this link to check them out and to sign up for those that interest you or the kids.

Throckmorton’s artwork, along with pieces submitted by local artists age 55 and older will be on display at the Council on Aging.

Call for Art: Jacob Wren Throckmorton 11th Annual Memorial Art Show. The Bedford Council on Aging will host the annual Jacob Wren Throckmorton Memorial Art Show on May 16 from 10am–3pm at 12 Mudge Way.

Submissions are open to all. A $5 entry fee is requested per artist. All 2-D art must be properly wired for hanging. Dropoff dates: May 8, 8am–2pm; May 9, 12:30–2:30pm; May 11, 8am–2pm; and May 12, 8am–2pm.

Call for Artists: Show and Sell at the Music & Arts Experience 2026!

The Bedford (MA) Cultural District Partnership (BCDP) invites artists and crafters to participate in our Music & Arts Experience 2026. This festival and craft sale will take place rain or shine on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Bedford Town Common (75 Great Road).

We are calling on creative makers to sell their original work and to bring their craft to life by offering live demonstrations or interactive activities at their tent. There is also an opportunity to lead a 1-hour workshop or demonstration at one of our designated tents. The application form (link below) for this family-friendly event has space for artists and crafters to describe their particular interest. The BCDP will widely and enthusiastically promote all workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Sellers must provide their own setup for a 10' x 10' area (tent, table, chairs, etc.). A nonrefundable $35 participation fee is required to reserve a tent space. Spaces are available until the Music & Arts Experience reaches capacity or through May 15, whichever comes first.

Restrooms will be available nearby. Onsite food trucks will offer food and beverages for sale. Details on vendor setup, parking, and logistics are provided at the end of the application form.
