Our retreats are located at Camp Allegheny in Stoystown, Pa. You would be staying in Cedar Lodge - 8 twin bedrooms, so if you are coming as a single, you will be matched to a roommate. 2 yarn shops nearby - one about 27 min west on Rt 30 to Ligonier, and the other about 30 min east on Rt 30 to Bedford. Flight 93 Memorial only 1 mile down the road. A trip to an alpaca farm, which also has an alpaca shop on the farm with yarn from their very own alpaca. Knitting lessons include corrugated ribbing, Latvian braid and stranded colorwork (Fair Isle). Brioche knitting lessons may be offered (I'm working on that now). In-ground swimming pool. All activities and lessons are free. $240 for entire retreat includes home-cooked meals.
