The world is softer, kinder, and infinitely more beautiful because of mothers.
All week long, we’ve been tying ribbons and writing cards filled with love from children of every age… tiny babies, grown sons, daughters with children of their own. Every message says a version of the same thing: “Thank you for being the best mom in the world.”
And somehow, so many of us are lucky enough to feel that way about our own mothers.
Kristen and I have spent our lives surrounded by extraordinary women — kind women, brave women, joyful women who taught us how to love people well, care deeply, work hard, and create beauty wherever we go. Magpie exists because of them.
This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the women who shaped us, cheered for us, carried us, and loved us long before we knew how to thank them properly.
To all the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, chosen mothers, and women who mother with their whole hearts… thank you for making the world better.
Here’s to strong women.
May we know them.
Maybe we be them.
May we raise them.
And to our Mom, Nikki, thank you doesn’t begin to cover it. We love you to the moon and back. Happy Mother’s Day.
