- EDGE TO EDGE QUILTING

- Basting: 0.75 cents per square inch. Standard basting is 3” apart side to side and top to bottom. Custom spacing is available upon request.

- Overall Simple Edge 2 Edge or Border 2 Border: 2 cents per square inch.

- Overall Complex Edge

2 Edge or Border 2 Border: 2.0 to 2.5 cents per square inch. Complexity of design determines the price.

- Adding Separate Border Design: $25.00



- CUSTOM QUILTING
Starts at 5.0 cents per square inch. Quilting estimate will be quoted upon receipt of the quilt top. Price will be based on complexity of designs, number of designs used, number of thread changes and number of borders. Custom Applique Quilts generally run 5-6 cents/sq in depending on the amount of detail desired in the quilting. The prices above DO NOT include batting, backing, binding or pressing.



- HOW TO DETERMINE THE PRICE FOR YOUR QUILT

Multiply the width of your top by the length to get the total number of square inches. Multiply this number by the price above. Example: 72" wide x 85" long = 6120 sq. in. 6120 x .0175 = $107.0

Example: 72" wide x 85" long = 6120 sq. in. 6120 x .040 = $244.8

- BATTING

Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Natural 96” wide $8.50 per yard

Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Natural 120” wide $12.00 per yard
Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Bleached 108" wide $9.50 per yard
Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Black 108" wide $9.50 per yard


- VARIEGATED THREAD Add $5.00 to total quilting charge.

- THREAD CHANGES (multi color quilting) Add $5.00 per change

- ADDITIONAL CHARGES $18.00 per hour for piecing backing fabric, edge stitching the quilt top, repairing quilt top or pressing prior to quilting. Additional cost for binding your quilt. I charge $0.10 per inch for hand binding.

Happy 250th anniversary America!
June was a busy month or me. Not a lot of quilting but a lot of fun. Started out with a Nashville trip to the CMA fan fest (plus mini vacation)for seven days. We had a great time. I no more than got home, and I went to a quilting retreat in Kansas for a week. Ending the month with several birthday celebrations. I did get a few quilts finished. Take a look.
