While we will be closed on Thursday this week to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family, we will still be open regular hours 11-4 on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. While tariffs may be causing price surges at big box stores, our family run business can maintain our current pricing.

The summer slipped away and here we are at the start of the holiday season, and you know what that means....... holiday guests. Oh oh, Uncle Fred and Aunt Mabel are coming to visit with their 4 moderately well behaved children and you don't have enough chairs to seat everyone. What to do..... Don't worry, we have you covered with a wide variety of stools, chairs, and even rockers for all your holiday guest seating. We have singles, pairs, threes and fours of a wide variety of styles and heights. Stop in soon for the best selection so that your guests are not left sitting on pillows on the floor.......like last year.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) book sale for July starts today and runs through Saturday. More than a dozen cases of books have been added to the existing stock from last sale. Stop into the building to pay $10 then fill your bag/s as full as you can.

Only need a few books? They are all $1.00 each regardless of size or topic.

Just a reminder for those visiting our shop from out of the area and who are finding our page for the first time, we are not a garage sale so we are legally required to charge tax on items unless you provide proof that you do not have to pay tax.

I know that all of our local customers are aware of this, but I was accused of being rude this morning because I informed someone that I am legally required to collect tax. I even offered to discount the item to more than cover the tax, which only hurts my bottom line, but that was not good enough for them.

We spend numerous hours searching out, obtaining, cleaning and staging our antiques and collectibles to provide the best experience for our customers. We are, however, to reiterate, not a garage sale, so must charge tax on purchases, so please keep this in mind while visiting.
