Calling all confident beginner sewists and beyond! Next month we are excitedly welcoming back instructor Matt Stahl for an encore run of his popular class, Men’s-Style Short-Sleeve Shirt.

From cutting and interfacing to the finishing touches of hemming and snap installation, Matt will guide you through this excellent workshop across three Sundays, offering sewing techniques, fit tips, and confidence to tackle more garment sewing at home. Additionally, if you love sewing with patterned fabric and are eager to up your pattern matching skills, get ready to watch your button bands and pockets completely disappear under Matt’s tutelage!

If you liked our Sunrise Gingham, you’re going to love our Sunset Gingham. 🌅 The primary difference between the two? Our Sunset Gingham features a rectangular gingham while our Sunrise Gingham is a classic square. Sunset Gingham also has a noticeably moodier palette. This 100% linen gingham will absolutely SING as a summer dress or lightweight pants. Truly gorgeous stuff. ✨

Introducing our newest line of linen, Hedgerow. A gorgeous 55” wide mid-weight linen in six stunning hues, all featuring embroidered stitching that creates a lovely textured vertical striping. Hello, dear customers! We come bearing exciting news for all the lovers of light, summery fabrics. We are thrilled to share the return of a formerly discontinued fabric line. Once known as Crawford Gingham and Crawford Stripe, we are so happy to reintroduce this line as our Classic Gingham Lawn and Classic Stripe Lawn, fully restocked and available in a full fleet of colors to boot. Ten gorgeous hues in two different weaves, striped or gingham - it’s a beautiful thing!

Welcome, Classic Gingham Lawn and Classic Stripe Lawn! But why under a new name, you may be asking. Well, “Crawford” and the established color names were names given in-house and essentially proprietary for the previous vendor so it made the most sense to name them ourselves. We can happily report the names are the only change this fabric has undergone, and we know you’re going to love these fabrics as much as you always have - under a new name and all!
