Calling all Customers! I have a lot more fabric in the shop - from flannels to beautiful silks to soft knits that are great for t-shirts, dresses, or even baby blankets! After living in Belhaven for just over twelve years, it is time for me, my husband and our puppies to move on! This is a bittersweet decision to move away from this small friendly town but one that shows promise for the next stage of our lives!

Having said that, my very successful embroidery business, That’s Sew Marti, is FOR SALE! I have a wonderful and dependable established customer base, I have the best equipment in the industry, and I have a healthy inventory of embroidery supplies and retail articles that will be included. I will train you on the machines, but understand that knowledge of machine embroidery is required. The transition from home embroidery to commercial embroidery is an easy transition.

When I started my little business, the goal was to provide monogramming and embroidery to Belhaven so one didn’t have to venture to Washington or Greenville for this service. Well, things just mushroomed and I have been fortunate to share my sewing skills and teaching skills to provided extended services to our community. Know that you do not have to carry on more than monogramming and embroidery….that was all I had intended to do in the first place!

Another Tuffet Class in Belhaven that produced 3 totally different tuffets! One was the Original Tuffet by a new tuffeteer. One was a Tuffet in a Day and was her third tuffet! And the third was a Faux Leather tuffet using 5 textures, and this was her 2nd tuffet! The ladies were not prepared for pictures so only the tuffets are here to enjoy! Great job, ladies!
