Our History
Fissel Floor Covering began as an installation service in 1972, serving Champaign, Hardin, Logan, and Union Counties. Then in 1979 the Fissel family opened a retail location where it still exists today. The vision for the retail store was to offer to the families of Logan and surrounding counties premium choices in floorings, along with affordable pricing and excellent customer service

Because we are locally-owned and operated, we want to help you make the right flooring and installation decisions for your home and ensure your satisfaction for years to come. We provide retail opportunities for the purchase all types of flooring: carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl sheet goods, luxury vinyl tile and ceramic tile. We also offer Hunter Douglas window treatments. We provide installation of all of those products or we sell the products for do-it-yourself applications. We also work in many commercial settings. We offer personal sales service to every customer; free personalized and professional estimates; in-home shopping and sample services; complete installation services; local and fully insured installation technicians; and a 0ne-year installation warranty, in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty.
