The Omaha North Hills Pottery Tour is this weekend. I restarted in the studio back in August- giving it a long break since April of 2023, to work a full time job at KANEKO.

The work is great, thankfully. Definitely ‘eggs all in one basket’ moments. I had to get to know some stuff, re-learn tricks, do mistakes. Some nice pots. Plenty to keep at, tho. Practice does make pretty good. Pete Pinnell said that.

Still, what I’m vibing the most are the good people in the SouthEast, experiencing total loss from Helene. If you can, help them out. Money probably works best from over here where we are. I made a fundraising page you can use to help the craftspeople of that area rebuild, through CERF+, (craft emergency relief fund) which provides services and support for those affected by life, nature, the beautiful terror. It’s wild, so hang on and help.

Anyways, come out, do culture, see humans you like. Buy a cup that becomes a lifetime companion. Not as good as dogs, but close.
It will be hot I hear, so gear up and make it a day.❤️u

The other day I had 172 likes for a post about a sale I was in. Most ever! In real life my right forearm is much more robust than this and thanks for your affirming thoughts on that. People note my hair quite a bit. Is that normal? Is everyone thinking about hair this much? I’m losing/gaining it all the time. Anyways. I’m Peter. Here I am on flipped camera photographing inventory. I make ceramics that are okay, handsome, neat, loved, cheap, expensive, useful, colorful, dark, small, big, straight, sharp, round, great, clunky, smooth etc. I’ve made them since 1997 all together. I live in Bellevue, Nebraska. I raise children with my ride or die Stacy, who would never say that phrase. And that’s about it. We have a dog. We have cars. We have good health. We live in a house. My granny turns 99 on Sunday. 99!! What a world.
