This sun-drenched English country garden vista custom mural is finally ready for its grand reveal! The mural greets visitors as they enter the elongated foyer of this lovely home in Lebanon, Ohio. As anyone who struggles with Type 1 diabetes can attest - bringing this beauty to life was hard on this ole 64 year old, especially my legs and right arm! Before getting ill and later diagnosed with Lada 1.5 diabetes at 55 years old - I was working creating custom murals and specialty paint finishes 8 to 12 hrs. daily, usually 5 days a week! Climbing ladders and scaffolding for well over 40 years, had never been an issue. I could paint lower details for hours with my legs folded under my upper body - NOT anymore, that's for sure! Luckily, my dear friends Dee & Dave Daniels were so encouraging and patient with me in dragging what should have been a 3 week mural, well into double that! Dee has always hoped for me to create a garden mural for her - and their lovely newly built, ranch style home provided for the perfect canvas. I am very grateful for their continual support and to everyone who follows my business or personal page and has sent me well wishes and kudos!
