1930s Tom Collins Palm Beach Cloth Competitor Belted Back Suit Size 38
Jacket-
Pit to pit: 20.25”
Waist: 18.25”
Shoulder width: 17.5”
Sleeve length: 24.75”
Length from collar seam: 28.75”
Trousers-
Waist, uncinched: 34.5” + 4.75” approx
Inseam: 30.25” + 2.5”
Material is identical in appearance and texture to Palm Beach Cloth. However since it has no PBC label, it’s likely one of the several PBC clone fabrics that were produced by competitors in the 30s.
Has some minor scuffing to the shoulder seam, some marks where the buttons were moved over (at some point someone moved them over to make the jacket bigger- I moved them back to their proper place) these are obscured when the jacket is worn/buttoned), and a couple minor stains (as shown). Overall very good condition with no hints of dry rot, or wear to the cuffs or sleeve ends, pockets or any of the usual wear spots.
