Yes, a bit of blue sky while lunching al fresco at the Yakima Arboretum. Watched the parents wrangle this gaggle across the open lawn and into the water. Can you even imagine trying to keep it together with that many to watch over?! 🪿

Yummy bundles of caramel and chocolate created just for those drooling over this little hexie project has started. It’s a fabulous quilt from the book shown in picture #2. Are you tempted too? Yes, I do love brown, but also a huge fan of caramels and chocolate … I’m all in🙋

This is why we live here in the PNW, for the green and the in between blue sky days! Happy for the rain but the lilac and crab apple tree blooms really took a beating. 💧

4 Birds✅ now it’s really ready for the finish. Would definitely have been easier to appliqué without the borders on - should I have tried stitching in my quilting hoop? 🤷
