Every family business has a story. Ours starts with Bobby.

Bobby’s journey began in Poland, where he learned the trade from some of Europe’s finest craftsmen. After bringing those skills to Connecticut and working on projects like Yale Law School’s Lillian Goldman Library, our family eventually found our way to Bellingham, WA. We’ve been proudly serving Whatcom County as a local flooring contractor ever since.

Today, Fairhaven Floors is still very much a family business. Bobby is usually the one making sure every flooring installation and refinishing project meets his standards. Mike and Jesse are out in the field handling hardwood floor installation, refinishing, and project management from start to finish. And yes... family dinner conversations have been known to turn into flooring discussions more than once.

For more than 30 years, we’ve believed that quality craftsmanship never goes out of style. It’s why every member of our installation team has at least 15 years of experience, and why the same people who start your flooring project are the ones who see it through to the very end.
