I thought sure this sweet little dog was going to kick my ass. I cried twice the day I finished it because it just wouldn't turn out, and I admit, I almost admitted defeat. But I didn't want to be known as someone who can't deliver when she says "Yeah, I can make that" so I forged on ahead. And I'm glad I did. Meet "Merlot"!

I woke up this morning and realized I'd sewn his ears on kinda crooked. Rather than pick out those fiddly little stitches, I put the eyes on crooked too and it looks like he's cocked his head to the side. Which kills me. I love him.
