Sometimes, the medicine you take to feel better can affect your kidneys if it is not used safely.

Some medications 💊 like NSAIDs and others can put extra stress on the kidneys, especially if you are dehydrated, already have kidney disease, or take multiple medications.

That doesn’t mean you should stop your medicine.
It means you should ask questions, understand what you are taking, and protect your kidneys while treating your health.

Sometimes your body is simply asking for help… and dehydration can make your kidneys work harder.

When you lose too much fluid from vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or heavy sweating, your kidneys may not get the blood flow they need to function well.

Don’t wait until you feel completely drained.
Listen to your body, replace fluids appropriately, and seek help when fluid loss is severe or persistent.
