We are truly honored and grateful to share that My Giving Tree Gift Shop & Gallery has been voted Best Home Decor, 2025 Reader’s Choice Winner by the readers of The Belton Journal.

As we celebrate 15 years in business, this recognition means more than words can express. When I opened My Giving Tree in 2011, my hope was simply to create a welcoming place where people could find unique gifts, beautiful home décor, and a little happiness along the way. I never imagined the incredible journey that would follow or the wonderful relationships that would be built through this little store.

This award is only possible because of you, our loyal customers. Whether you’ve shopped with us once or hundreds of times, shared our posts, recommended us to a friend, or simply stopped by to say hello, you have helped make this possible.

We are humbled by your support and grateful for the trust you place in us. It is a privilege to be part of so many special moments, celebrations, and memories.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Curtis W. D***s, known to many as
CW D***s.

For many years, My Giving Tree Gift Shop & Gallery has been honored to carry Curtis’s artwork. His talent touched the hearts of countless collectors across the United States, Curtis was a highly respected artist whose work was collected in other countries, and he had artwork commissioned and hung in the White House.

Curtis had a remarkable gift for capturing the spirit, beauty, and character of the American West through his paintings. His art brought joy to so many and will continue to do so for generations to come.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have known Curtis and to have shared his incredible work with our customers and friends. We will truly miss him.

We are honored to continue sharing his legacy through the artwork we have in our gallery, including both giclées and original paintings.

Please join us in keeping his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Curtis. Your legacy lives on through every brushstroke and every life you touched through your art.

What a beautiful and soul-filled afternoon this was. ❤️

I am so honored to call Brandon Rootz and Frank Cimino my friends. These two incredible musicians are so dear to my heart, and it was truly a blessing to share music alongside them and help sponsor this special concert at Arusha Coffee Co in Downtown Belton.

Their music brings together world rhythms, soulful melodies, and indigenous influences in such a powerful and meaningful way. Being able to play the Native American flute with them made the day even more special for me personally.

A huge thank you to Hatem and Jacques at Arusha Coffee Co. for always welcoming us with open arms and open hearts. And much love to the wonderful people at Ruby Tea Room for their kindness and support as well. We are surrounded by such amazing people in this community, and we truly love you all.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share music, friendship, and joy with our community this Sunday. It was a day I will always treasure. 🎶✨

Since opening in 2011, we’ve continued a tradition of giving our customers a special gift with their purchase as a thank you for your business and support. 💛

About six months ago, we started giving our customers a charm bracelet, and each time they shop with us they get to add a new charm to their bracelet. It has been such a pleasure watching our customers build their own special bracelets and memories with us. We have now given away over 1,500 bracelets. ✨
