It is with sadness that I found out that Steve Christlieb passed away. Steve was one of my first employees and he had never fixed a sewing machine, and I had never been an employer before. So we navigated that road together and he has always been a supporter of me and of our store. So remember his wife Cheryl as she transitions to this new and lonelier stage of life.

Celebrate the life of Stephen Christlieb and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

Two questions for you:
If I was to make magnetic pin holders like this for your longarm, how many of you would be interested in one, and what color would you want them to be?

Two main features would be these:
- Fitted to, and magnetically held to the longarm poles for easy access when pinning on your quilt. Won't fall off!
- Will also automatically arrange the pins so that the are lined up left to right

The Headwaters Quilt Guild will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at A Stitch in Time, 200 Paulbunyan Drive S, Suite 2, Bemidji, Mn.
Local talent, Sandy Evenson-Hagen, will show and talk about making block of the month quilts. Sandy will also be showing other fabulous quilts she has pieced.
The public is invited to attend and inquire about joining the guild.

Jay turned 50 this past weekend! There's no way to say "half a century" without sounding old! This year, instead of dressing old as he did when he turned 40, we're doing something different!
