II. DISTRIBUTE ✨
The second panel in my triptych 12,000.
This silver piece represents movement, exchange, and the ways care travels through a community. Nourishment is never created in isolation — it moves through hands, kitchens, volunteers, conversations, and shared effort.
Built from thousands of individually cut and painted elements, the surface shifts subtly with light and perspective, reflecting the rhythm and energy behind consistent acts of service. The repetition within the piece became a meditation on connection — how small actions, repeated over time, create something far greater collectively.
Silver felt like the right material language for this panel: reflective, fluid, and constantly changing depending on how it’s viewed. To me, it represents the exchange between giving and receiving, and the invisible networks that hold communities together.
This piece is part of NOURISH, an upcoming exhibition benefiting , which provides 12,000 meals to the Central Oregon community each month.
Thanks to and for your collaboration and community support! 🤍
