Happy Independence Day! The store will be closed Saturday, July 4 and reopening on Sunday, July 5.
I hope to see many people at the Bennington Monument for the reading of the Declaration of Independence as the green mountain boys, and I will be there at noon for this momentous semiquincentennial our nation.
Shortly after the reading, we will all be heading over to the Bennington Battlefield site in Hoosick falls for a tableau Vivanté, we will be re-creating the signing of the declaration of independence.
Hope to see you there as well at 2 PM.

Happy Easter, everyone!
The store will be closed today for the holiday, and until April 24 for a vacation. Hope to see you on or after Friday April 24 when we reopen.

Happy snow day everyone!
Due to the timing of the expected heavy snowfall I expect to be closed tomorrow Monday the 23rd all day, or until the plow has done the lot.

Beautiful snow day but my plow guy was a no show. Thanks to Dane and his boys coming to the rescue. Three enterprising young lads with strong work ethic shoveled out the whole lot! Nice work boys. Thanks again

Merry Christmas to all, tomorrow, Monday the 22nd is the last day we’re open before Christmas. If you have any last-minute gift items to pick up, we are open 10 to 5 and we also have gift certificates if you don’t have a chance to find something special for someone you can treat them with the gift of their choice after Christmas we are reopening Friday at 10 AM. Today is the day for Saxy Santa and the Carolines to lead us all in a sing along of twelve Christmas carols. Bring the kids, hot cider and home made cookies. Singing starts at 2:pm fun all day long.
