Fall 2024. I later added skulls to the "garland" (and apparently a chair). This was the year my mantels started getting dramatic and I haven't looked back. It was so hard to get the swoop over the mirror. I used chicken wire to get some height.

I want our house to feel warm, collected and a little moody without adding a ton of seasonal decor.
Think aged wood, autumn branches, warm candlelight, layered textures with muted and moody colors.

I’m trying to ease into fall this year with more texture, muted colors, and natural elements instead of bringing out all the pumpkins at once.
I added these fall branches to the mantel, a couple of muted pumpkins, and called it good.
Well… for now. 😉
What do you think? Are you ready for fall, or are you still hanging onto summer?

I never really understood the hype about pumpkin spice. 😆
I thought I wasn't going to do a dramatic mantel, but then this kinda happened. Who says you can't have twinkle lights in the fall?

You don’t need more stuff. You just need to be a little more intentional with what you bring home. You do not need to buy the whole seasonal "new release".
