We remember not only those who served, but also the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every single day.

May we never take their service for granted, and may we always live with gratitude for the freedoms we’ve been given. 🇺🇸 ❤️

Our final delivery of kidding season wrapped up with 1 big buck for our Millie girl, arriving without a hitch, on April 16th.

In fact, it was so smooth and effortless, I completely missed his entrance as I ran back up to the house to grab my birthing tote.

A calm, perfect ending to a season full of blessings... and stress.

What a wild kidding this was for our Poppy girl! On April 14th she gave us 3 big, beautiful bucklings, but not without a fight.

For the first time in 8 years of kidding seasons, I had to step in and physically pull a massive breech baby. Her labor was going great until it wasn't. I realized baby number 1 was breech and stuck. Over 2 long, exhausting hours, we worked to get him here. His sac had been broken for nearly 2 hours, and the odds felt stacked against us, but I knew we had no choice but to get him here.

By the grace of God, that little guy made it… and not just made it, but is thriving. His brothers followed closely behind, breech, but with ease.

Moments like this remind me just how fragile and miraculous life truly is, and how incredible our mamas are.

Poppy has healed great after a round of antibiotics and is a dotting mom.

Our sweet pink-nosed mama Indie has always been an overachiever with her steady sets of triplets, but on April 13th she outdid herself!

She welcomed her very first set of quadruplets! One precious little doeling and three strong bucklings.

Indie handled it like the seasoned mama she is, loving on her babies and settling right into the rhythm of caring for her biggest crew yet.

We’re so proud of our girl, and completely smitten with her babies 🫶

Our second first freshener of the year, Honey, didn’t disappoint! She blessed us with our third registerable baby on the farm, on Easter Sunday, and we couldn’t have been more excited. One big, beautiful doeling and I am absolutely smitten with her 🫶

It’s such a sweet milestone watching these genetics come together as we begin intentionally introducing registered stock into our herd.

It's going to be hard to let this little girl leave the farm.

Our first freshener Nyla gave us our first registerable babies on the farm on April 1st! One big, beautiful buckling, and a sweet little doeling 🫶

I'm a little late updating everyone, but kidding season on the farm is officially finished. No more late night lig checks 🙌

Now it's time to share our sweet babies with you. We ended the season with 5 beautiful doelings and 10 bucklings.

On March 31st our Tilly girl gave us 2 big, healthy boys.
