Sharing my Christmas card this year because it really does say it all.
This past year has been full of learning curves, long days, happy surprises, and so much support from people I love and people who showed up along the way. Whether you invited me into your home, ordered a bow or wreath, shared a post, sent encouragement, or simply followed along it has meant more than you know.

Building Tripp Johnson Designs has been equal parts hard work and heart work, and I wouldn’t trade this season for anything. Thank you for being part of it and for making this year feel so meaningful.

One house and three very different trees 🎄

A full live Christmas tree in the living room filled with sentimental and vintage ornaments. A quiet bedroom moment with a flocked tree glowing in colorful lights. And upstairs a skinny tree with all the elf gingerbread and Santa cheer shining from the second story window for the whole road to see.

One of my favorite parts of decorating is getting a glimpse into who my clients are. This home made it extra special surrounded by horses and cows with views out almost every window. Such a peaceful place to spend the day bringing Christmas to life.

There’s nothing like bringing Christmas into a place folks walk into every day 🎄
I loved decorating First Citizens Bank in Smithfield with classic holiday touches that feel warm, welcoming, and timeless. Staircase garland finished with big bows I tied by hand, a grand traditional tree in the heart of the bank, a red and gold tree with cardinals, bright bows on the stanchions, greenery at the teller stations, and a small table wreath to tie it all together.

My goal is always to make a space feel festive but familiar, like Christmas should. If your business is looking to add a little holiday charm next season, I would love to help.

Unboxing a brand new tree and filling it with the pieces that already hold so many memories. Old Christmas balls, sentimental ornaments, beaded red garland, and ribbon I tied last year. I love the idea that Christmas does not have to be trendy to be beautiful. Give me tradition over trends any day because the things that mean something are the things that truly last year after year 🤍🎄

Bringing a little woodland magic into the man cave today. A tall skinny tree dressed in traditional Christmas colors, a mantle full of lush garland, touches of burlap and birch ribbon, and bowls filled with festive layers to make the whole space feel like a cozy winter retreat. Even added a garland crown to the silver deer to tie everything together. Loving how this one turned out for the season.

What a day. I got up early this morning and headed back home to Meadow, North Carolina for Miss Dae Wood’s event Christmas at the Barn 2025, and it was truly such a joy. I had my little station set up inside the barn tying bows, selling wreaths, and getting to create custom pieces right on the spot. Almost every bow that went home today was one where someone picked their ribbon and I tied it right there in front of them. There is something really special about making something with your hands while talking with the person it is going to.

I loved getting to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones. Being able to talk to everyone in the community, hear stories, talk, and build those relationships is the reason I love doing this so much. It makes the long days worth it.

A huge thank you to Miss Dae for inviting me and for putting on such a beautiful and successful event. I had so much fun and I am grateful to have been a part of it.

And I have to say this too because it is true every single time. I could not have done any of this without the help of my mom. My best friend, my favorite person, and the one who always shows up for me. I am thankful for her more than she will ever know.

Here is to a wonderful day in Meadow and to everything still ahead this season. 🎄✨
