This all started after we purchased a foreclosure house in need of renovations. We had big ideas for the home and not the budget to pay for all of these ideas. My wife and I changed everything about the house minus the floor plan, except in one room we did redo the floor plan. We did all of this while working a full-time job and raising a newborn and a one-year-old. We wanted barn doors for the pa
ntry and master bathroom. We searched the internet and never found anything we wanted for a reasonable price. We explored the local home improvement stores and did not see what we wanted for something we could afford. Then friends and family came by and saw the house after it was done. They liked the barn doors and wanted their own doors. So, I made the barn doors. Now we want to create custom barn doors for anyone and not just send some wood in a box that you have to assemble and paint/stain. Instead, we want to make a full door, and the only assembly you will need is to mount the track and door. Then we decided we wanted to make furniture for the house and other items made from wood. I am learning more and more every day. Making more and more every day. I still work a full-time job that I enjoy and not to mention pays the bills. But, I genuinely enjoy building stuff, and I want to make things that are not overly marked up just make a disconnected CEO rich.
