Three tornadoes around 1am this morning. We got lucky, it was scary for a little while. We were all hunkered down under a mattress but luckily we only had 90mph winds and large hail hit us, a couple of miles away people were not so lucky, homes and businesses wiped out in Rogers, Decatur, and Bentonville. Probably won't have power for a few days. Many people injured, thankfully only one fatality reported so far. Stay safe!

Here is the finished product. 12oz vegtan finished with golden brown dye and topped with several coats of mink oil. The handle wrap and sheath pocket are water Buffalo. I also cleaned off the rust and polished the blade which was a surprise for the client. He was very exited to see it and says he can't wait to pass it down to his son.

One of the really cool things I get to do with leather is to add to an items history. This cane knife has been handed down through the owners family. With a 12oz saddle skirting scabbard and a handle wrap it will be ready for future generations to use and enjoy.

It's been many a year since I picked up a shotgun. Really fun shooting course! I came in second in our friendly competition ( I had to let the boss win 😉). Looking forward to doing it again.
