Look at this stunner. I had this in my front entry full of my Grandmother’s Williamsburg crystal. We’re moving and I’m changing direction on color. It’s a great chance to get a one of a kind piece. Red laquer chinoiserrie bar with mother of pearl details. Opens to reveal a gorgeous panel and mirror with room for bottles, glasses and wine storage.
$499

I could not love these people more if I tried. These children and grandchildren of ours make me so proud. I love them and I like them. They are smart, independent, educated, self sufficient, caring, devoted and lovely. If I had been given the opportunity to choose my family, I would have chosen them. I say it everyday…thank you Lord. Just thank you.

Happy Easter. He is risen just as He said.
I pray you feel God’s all encompassing, unconditional and unfailing love on this beautiful resurrection day. My faith has held me through some of the darkest days in recent years. God has never left me. I only had to utter the words,”I need you” and he wrapped me in comfort until I could find my way back. My prayer for everyone that reads this is that you know you are NEVER alone.
Have a restful blessed Easter.

Well, I closed out a spectacular fair week here in England. What a week! 5 show days in 7 days. Appointments and shops everyday in between. New haunts. The English countryside and coast. Magic. I finished my day yesterday at Zara, lunch with my youngest in London and fish and chips in the local village pub for dinner. Here is a glimpse of what I see each day. 100’s and 100’s of sellers at each show. Some larger than others. A small show can be as amazing as an international show. I’ll post pics of things coming to NWA in the next post.

This is absolutely true. Relationships are everything! Good for the business and good for the soul.

You must see it to believe it. Four floors…stacks upon stacks upon stacks. Majolica, bamboo tables, paper mache’ Victorian tole trays, Wedgewood, game tureens and copper. Even a barely twist tea tray on casters. I finished the day at my book source. She had Winnie the Pooh and Shakespeare and an Apocrypha. She’s getting another bag together. I also drove 3 hours today…through the English countryside. My favorite kind of day. I’ll post more pics before I go to bed. Off for some fish and chips!

Just the best day…I bought so well. But the best part was we ended the day in the pub celebrating a birthday and talking shop. I love the connections. The friendship. And of course, the beautiful pieces that come home with me.

Ok guys. I crossed the pond…again. This trip has many facets. The first facet is 5 show days in 7 days. Up at 4:30, buying buying and more buying. Visiting with amazing other buyers and sellers. Seeing merch that makes your heart swoon. I’ll take pics tomorrow of the treasure. It’s just dreamy. Staffies, bread boards, art, horse brasses by the dozens, barely twist hat stands, candle sticks and tables. English boxes, Tunbridge wells, cigar English boxes and cutters. Even a smokers cabinet and a black Forest cigar humidor. Gorgeous. I even found a complete Majong set with green bottoms. They look stunning and were made the year I was born. That’s pretty old!
Majolica, Imari, wedgewood, blue willow, pairs of vases. I’m going to release pics of each day. Let me know what you think.
I’ll be home after Easter. You won’t believe it!
I restocked the shop before I left on Sunday. Dozens of paintings, a spruce up and some new things. There are children’s books and Collectible Wade Whimsies that make great Easter basket fillers.
Come to Daisies and Olives.

Happy British Mother’s Day!
I’ve been to the shop. I’ve added some lovely things. Welsh love spoons, books and art art art. I listened to some of your requests and used lots of wood frames this time. The two hunt scene watercolours are to die for. And DOGS! I took pictures but didn’t realize there was a glare on so much of the glass. You’ll have to zoom in on the image to see the details. Look at the Burl frames!
There are some sweet little oils and watercolors that are $29. Perfect for shelves and small spots.
Come see us at Daisies and Olives in Prairie Grove.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’ve been to the shop with some goodness. Lovely books, gorgeous art, bread boards and a few boxes. Winnie the Pooh, Jane Austen, Tolkien and C S Lewis to name a few. But the art…swoon. There are even a couole of solid brass razorbacks mounted on bone. Really unique!
Come see us at Daisies and Olives.
