As we stepped into the promising year of 2026, our community was buzzing with excitement, hosting coffee hours and meaningful events with our cherished veterans. However, fate had other plans, and we've encountered a significant challenge that requires our collective support and love. Some of our beloved veterans, regulars at our coffee hours and contributors to our store, have recently received cancer diagnoses, casting a shadow of worry and financial strain over their journey.
It's time for us to rally around them, offering not just comfort but tangible support. Let's come together for a noble cause - a bake sale dedicated to easing the financial burdens of these heroes, covering expenses like travel to doctor's appointments and other necessities, so they can focus on what matters most: their fight for recovery.
We invite this community to join hands - let's sell out every single baked item on Saturday, March 21st, from 12 pm to 4 pm, in a show of solidarity and support.
