Here’s one plant a lot of people may not know by name: the anthurium 🌿

They come in so many colors and varieties, and they’re easier to care for than you may think.

A few tips from John:

🌤️ Keep it in bright, indirect light
💧 Water when the top inch of soil feels dry
🪴 Make sure the pot drains well and never sits in water
💦 Anthuriums love humidity, so lightly mist the leaves when the air feels dry
🌡️ Keep it away from cold drafts and direct heat
✂️ Remove any faded flowers or yellow leaves to encourage healthy growth

John is back behind the camera with an interesting little experiment he’s been working on at the shop 🔬🌸

These two hydrangeas arrived at the same time and were the exact same quality...

One was treated with bleach in the water to help control bacteria, then sprayed with Crown & Glory to help the bloom hold onto moisture.

The other was left untreated!

We are seeing a very different result on each hydrangea 👀

This is why proper flower care makes such a difference, especially with hydrangeas!
