Berroco’s Spring Yarn Tasting has arrived and we have paired up with Monger’s Provisions for a morning of sampling yarn and cheeses.

Join us as we gather to try out Berroco’s new spring yarns with their yarn tasting kit. You will receive a goodie bag with six mini skeins of yarns, a look book, and a coupon for 50% off a Berroco pattern. Please bring an assortment of needles or crochet hooks to try out the new yarns.

For the cheese portion, Zach has put together a sample of a few cheeses, meats, and accoutrements. Monger’s Provisions has such an amazing selection of cheeses and meats that we are sure in for a yummy morning.

The H**e Sunset Shawl is a fun exploration of stitches. Made using a full skein of Trifecta Fine and a Party of Five set by Sweet Georgia. Trifecta Fine is stunning blend of bluefaced leicester wool, mohair, and silk, creating a beautiful drape. Sweet Georgia used Black Raspberry and Wild Thistle for their sample.

We have a few spots remaining for our private showing of Sheep Detective. Love Hugh Jackman? Love sheep? Then you’re probably gonna love the movie Sheep Detectives! Have You Any Wool has secured a theater at Birmingham Palladium in downtown Birmingham on May 20 at 6 PM to watch the movie with the lights dimmed so we can work on our projects and enjoy the new hit movie while we stitch away. Head to our website tickets can be purchased under events then workshops tab. We hope you can join us.

The Autumn Waves Wrap by Brittany Garber can be made in two sizes but can be made adaptable for additional length. The wave pattern makes a light and airy look that is perfect for cool summer nights, its easy to dress up for a summer wedding or dress down with a pair of jeans. Our sample is made with Acrid.

“Downtown Flower Market” blooms in June
Spring hasn’t sprung in Michigan, but it will be soon. I am so excited to spend an afternoon at the flower market, I love being inspired by natures beauty. Julia from Knitterly Things created a colorway from using the inspiration, ‘Downtown Flower Market.” Eastern Market Flower Day is coming up on Saturday, May 16th. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it!

You can choose between her fi*****ng base - 400 yards of 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon- or DK base - 231 yards of 100% superwash merino.

Additional skeins are $30 for both fi*****ng and DK. Call us at (248)541-9665 by 5pm on May 17th to order your additional skeins or to purchase your membership.
