During a recent visit to Longwood Gardens, I was particularly impressed by the Summerific® Rose Mallow hibiscus series, which was prominently featured both at the gardens and at our accommodations. Upon my return, I made arrangements to acquire this series for our nursery, making it available for your landscaping projects.

The Proven Winners Rose Mallow Hibiscus is a cold-hardy perennial series, suitable for zones as low as 4. This series is distinguished by its impressive 8-inch, tropical-appearing blooms, distinctive dark foliage, and low-maintenance characteristics. Notable varieties include 'Evening Rose,' featuring hot pink flowers and nearly black leaves; 'Spinderella,' with soft pink and white flowers complemented by dark green foliage; and 'Holy Grail,' which presents deep red flowers against a backdrop of nearly black foliage.
