🌾 A Little Country Charm for September

There’s something about farmhouse style that just feels right as summer begins to give way to fall. 🍂

Booth 6 is filled with that warm, collected country look — roosters and chickens, crocks and dishes, rustic wood, vintage-inspired signs, baskets, glassware and plenty of unexpected little finds tucked in between.

And with just a few pumpkins beginning to appear, it’s starting to feel like harvest season might not be too far away. 🌻🐓

🔎 Look High, Look Low

There’s plenty to look through in Booth 118 at Uptown Emporium, especially if you love vintage pieces with a little farmhouse and Americana character.

Look for cast-iron cookware, vintage kitchen finds, old blue Mason jars, books and games, collectibles, signs, license plates, glassware and plenty of unexpected pieces tucked in between.

This is definitely a booth where it pays to look high, low—and everywhere in between!

Some booths are easy to describe. Booth 17 isn’t one of them—and that’s part of the fun!

Glassware and pottery mingle with baskets, handbags, artwork, dishes, home décor and plenty of unexpected finds. There’s no single style or category here—just a beautifully eclectic mix with something different everywhere you look.

🎨 There’s a Story Behind the Art in Booth 28

The artwork in Booth 28 at Uptown Emporium isn’t simply décor—these are original works by artist Alice Ruzi, who created oil paintings, etchings, watercolors and oil pastels throughout her life.

Alice studied at the Maryland Institute and the Art Students League in New York—and at a time when women weren’t always respected as artists, she even painted under the name Al Rush. She lived to be 93 and left her collection of artwork to her daughter.

You’ll find Alice’s work throughout Booth 28, alongside china, glassware, jewelry, handbags, linens, collectibles and more.

A booth filled with beautiful finds—and a pretty remarkable story. ❤️

🎄 Who’s the hardest person on your Christmas list to buy for?

No, we’re not rushing summer! ☀️ But today is August 25 — which means Christmas is exactly four months away.

And that got us thinking about those people who are really hard to buy for.

The collector. The decorator. The coastal lover. The kid at heart. The person who appreciates something old and unusual. And, of course, the person who already has everything.

That’s where shopping an antique mall gets interesting. The best gift may not be sitting on a Christmas display at all. It might be a piece of stained glass, a vintage collectible, beautiful pottery, an unusual piece for the home, or something so wonderfully unexpected that you immediately think, “That’s SO them.”
