Arkansas manufacturers are producing incredible products every day, many of which are made right in your communities by members of your chamber or economic development organization.

Once again, Arkansas Business, in partnership with the State Chamber/AIA, is launching The Coolest Thing Made in Arkansas competition, and they need your help generating nominations from across the state.

This contest is a fun and meaningful way to shine a spotlight on Arkansas manufacturing, celebrate local innovation, highlight workforce talent and bring positive visibility to communities throughout the state.

AEDCE encourages you to nominate products manufactured in your area and help spread the word to local businesses, community leaders, employees and supporters. The more engagement a product receives, the better its chances of advancing in the competition.
To move forward in the contest, products must rank among the Top 16 in total nominations, so early participation matters."

Mother's Day is right around the corner and we've got you covered!
All candles come in a gift box and we'll put it in a gift bag with colorful tissue paper. All you have to do is pick the fragrance and label you want.
We offer custom labels for a small upcharge, tell us what you want it to say. Please allow us a couple of days notice for custom labels. Pre orders are welcome and as always we deliver within the city limits.

Today let's talk about wick trimming.
Do I really need to trim the wick? If you want your candle to perform at its very best, then YES!
Proper wick maintenance leads to an overall better experience.
Let's be honest, some candles will never perform well, no matter what you do but sometimes it comes down to some user error.
Here are some benefits of trimming the wick:
CLEANER BURN: Trimming to the proper length prevents excess soot and smoke.
EVEN MELT POOL: Trimming prevents wasted wax and can sometimes even help fight tunneling.
LONGER LASTING CANDLE: If a wick is left too long, it will burn too hot which will shorten the lifespan of your candle.
If your candle burns too hot it will also cause the melt pool to become too deep. When the melt is too deep it will allow the wick to lean. That leaning will cause the wick to get too close to one side of the glass, causing that side to become way too hot, leading to glass breakage. Breaking glass can lead to fire.
And last but not least...
STRONGER FRAGRANCE THROW:
Maintaining the wick allows the wax to melt at the right rate, which leads to improved scent diffusion.
When you buy a candle from Dusty Belle Candles, there is no need to trim the wick before the 1st burn. We've taken care of that for you.
