A month or two ago, we were browsing through a local thrift market when this antique grandfather clock (long case) caught our eye. It appeared to be original and almost complete with very little repair needed to the case. The weights were missing and the pendulum was there but not attached to anything. So, after researching the clockmakers signature we discovered that this clock was made in the 1700's in Hereford, provincial England. A few parts were purchased and duplicate oak spindles turned to replace broken ones on the hood. Here's the progress so far. Spoiler : It now keeps time!
