HOT TAKE (and this might get me a lot of hate) but we do ✨NOT✨ belong there!
As a 3D printer myself, if I go to a makers market and there’s 3d print booths there I’m automatically turned off.
Even though I make my own designs, I recognize there’s a difference between what I do and what a true handmade maker does.
This obviously isn’t to say that we don’t belong at any market at all, but there’s a time and space for everyone. The products in my shop have more of an alt/goth aesthetic and I try to cater towards that when applying to different events because that’s where I do the best!
Although I absolutely do believe that what we do is considered art, I don’t think our products should be showcased at a handmade/makers market next to makers who spend hours and hours on each of their pieces; often times hand sculpting and painting each and every little detail to get it just right.

Honestly, my house has just been taken over the things I’ve made the last few months because I just can’t stop 😂
New STL files over on my Patreon every week @ Schrodinger_3D. For the month of June I’m going to focus on more home decor including the release of my tarot card mirrors 🔮🥀🏵️✨

When I let being a creative take precedence in my life I finally found the joy in my day to day 😊
Paracon was really good to me this weekend but to say I’m exhausted is an understatement lol. Taking the next few weeks to get restocked and reset for an exciting summer 🤗

Been working super hard on getting things ready for Paracon this weekend! This is going to be the biggest event I’ve attended as a vendor and to say I’m a bit nervous is an understatement 😅

In my HONEST opinion- the hardest part of being a small business owner in 2026 is having to also become a part time content creator in order to maintain your business 😴

After a few years I learned to just record everything I did for my business, no matter how cringe it might feel in the moment. I’ve gotten some of my best performing content by just showing the behind the scenes of how I do things and bringing people along on my journey with me🖤

With the emergence of 3D AI sites, I’ve seen way too many people hire “3D artists” only to receive something that’s clearly AI-generated and sometimes, not even printable 🫢

It can be super frustrating, especially when you think you’re paying for skill, creativity, and real craftsmanship. Not all 3D work is created equal, and a clean render doesn’t always mean that it’s usable in the real world.

If you’re commissioning work make sure you’re asking the right questions; file type, topology, print readiness- ALL of it matters. Don’t get caught paying for something that only looks good on screen.📺
